Formed in 2008 by guitarist Brandon McConnell and Vocalist Amber McConnell then later joined by ex-Toxic Sunset bassist Harry Garvin and Drummer Chris Heil, From the Fallen gained a strong fanbase in their hometown of Fresno, California. In their short history they have toured and opened up for various national headlining acts such as Lacuna Coil, All That Remains, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, 10 Years, Stephen Pearcy of Ratt, Mandy Lion, Scott D. Davis, Adema, 2 Cents, Aroarrah, Taking Dawn, Green Jelly, Model Saint, Vains of Jenna, Tesseract, Devin Townsend, Bruno Mars, ANew Revolution, Since October, Taproot, Alien Ant Farm, Sevendust, Saliva, Filter, and Heart-Set Self-Destruct.
From the Fallen has been featured on local radio stations 103.7 KRZR and 104.1 New Rock and have been featured in Alternative Revolt Magazine.
The band's name, "From the Fallen" came to light after each band members past project dissolved.
